During the hours of the Tour, gift boutique vendors will be displaying at
the Service League House located at 506 3rd Avenue, NW, Hickory.

Homemade desserts and homemade frozen soups will also be sold.

Tickets are not required for the Service League House.

  WHERE DO THE PROCEEDS GO?

Proceeds from the Kitchens & More Tour will go toward Safe Harbor Rescue Mission, Cooperative Christian Ministry of Greater Hickory, Women's Resource Center, and the Backpack Program for the Hickory Public Schools.

 

The Backpack Program will provide nutritious, non-perishable food over weekends and holidays for elementary-age students who are at risk of being hungry. The Service League of Hickory will be assisted in its efforts by the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina (a member of Feeding America.) www.secondharvestmetrolina.org. The Service League is excited to announce that it is now an official agency of Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina!

It is a non-profit organization made up of women in the community who continue the philosophy the League was founded on which are the principles of charity, public service and education in the community.
