Community Service & Events

Thrift Shop

The Service League Thrift Shop is a resale outlet for donated clothing (children’s, youth & adult) and household items. Begun in 1948, Monday through Saturday members work two shifts daily making sales, stocking items and marking items for sale. Thrift Shop sales allow profits to return through Service League programs designed to improve cultural, educational and social issues in Catawba County.

While Thrift Shop items come primarily from Service League members, donations are accepted from the general public during normal business hours.
