Membership

Membership Types

Each member of the League belongs to one of seven membership categories:

Provisional Members: Members who have accepted an invitation into the League and for six months are engaged in completing the requirements for active membership.

Active Members: Members who have completed the provisional period and have all the privileges and responsibilities of the League.

Professional Members: Members who have completed the provisional period and, due to educational or professional involvement, cannot meet the requirements for active membership at a given time. They have limited responsibilities and privileges.

Active Choice Members: Members who have completed the provisional period and five years of active service excluding leaves. They have limited responsibilities and all the privileges of the League.

Limited Active Choice Members: Members who have completed the provisional period and are active members with children under the age of kindergarten. They have all the privileges and limited responsibilities.

Inactive Members: Members who have completed the provisional period and ten years of active service, excluding leaves. They have limited responsibilities and privileges.

Members Emeritus: Members who have completed 35 years of membership in the League. There are no responsibilities for this classification.
